This is a transitional item from the 70s cursive tag to the 80s block letter tag with TM. After this tag, the tag with ® appeared, and the buttons also had the LL Bean engraving. This one is a transitional piece, with non-engraved buttons, a rare detail.

There is a few minor soiling and fabric wear, but the down is fluffy!

The quality label under the tag is clearly legible, suggesting it has been used infrequently.
